DC POINTS

  • DC Points are the Lonestar Tour’s version of FedExCup Points.

  • Players earn DC Points both for their team and individual rank by finishing Top 10 in any season event.

  •  DC Points matter for 3 Reasons

    • To qualify for the Tour Championship, players must finish the season as a top 20 DC Point earner.

    • The Top 5 DC point earners will be given an advantage at the Tour Championship

    • The Team with the most cumulative DC Points will win the X Cup

  • “DC” stands for Dallas Chalice, the trophy awarded to the winner of the Lonestar Tour Championship.

DC POINT DISTRIBUTION

DC Points are distributed based on tournament finishing position:

  1. 100

  2. 70

  3. 48

  4. 32

  5. 25

  6. 20

  7. 18

  8. 15

  9. 12

  10. 10

In the event of a tie, DC points will be split evenly between tied players. 

TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP ADVANTAGE

The Top 5 DC Points earners will begin the Tour Championship at 1 under par

X CUP

  • The X Cup is a team competition, lasting the entire 10 event season.

  • The team with the most cumulative DC Points at the end of the season will win the X Cup

TEAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Each team consists of 4 total players (1 captain)

  • Captains are elected at the beginning of each season

  • The worst 2 captains. will be relegated at the end of each season

  • Captains can keep up to 2 players across seasons.

  • Captains will select their teams in a randomized snake order draft.

  • No more than 3 team members may share the same tee time at events to prevent collusion.
